The USA Sports Weekly this week has a featured article on closers and how difficult it is to be a long term closer in the major leagues such as Trevor Hoffman or Mariano Rivera. It gives some mention to Chad Cordero and his struggles this season. But since the article was written, Chad has gotten back on track. He does have the stuff and the makeup to be a successful long term closer, I feel.

After last night's blowout to the LA Dodger, it is easy to get down on the team despite its recent success. Remember, it's s series at a time, and the Nats have won their last 4, including 3 straight from Cincinnati after losing the first one. Go, Nats. I will be at the Asheville Tourists' game this evening, but I'll be thinking about the Nats. I will be wearing a Nats tee shirt and am awaiting the new Natis cap that I have ordered.

Has anyone seen (tv) or heard (wmal) the commercial about filing complaints with the FCC against Comcast about the illegal (alleged) restriction Comcast is subjecting Nationals fans to?
